Carrie can genuinely be described as unique. Not only is she disabled, but she goes out of her way to help others who are suffering. Carrie has written poetry for many years and her first anthology is in the process of being published, with a targeted launch date of April/May 2016. A sample of what you will be able to buy then, will be available at Carrie's space for you to enjoy. All proceeds from the sales of The Collage Collection will go to The Friends' Hospice at St. George's Polyclinic.
She also writes poetry to order for all occasions such as birthdays, weddings and other celebrations. Carrie also makes 'bespoke' handmade greeting cards that are pieces of art in their own right.
Carrie creates works of art, using organic matter and ramdomly found objects. She calls these projects Bizarre Surreal Organic Dot Ink.
Bonsai cultivation has been a love of hers for some 35 years. When you buy one of her bonsai babies, it comes with a maintenance contract. Carrie is also a qualified horticulturist who designs gardens.
Directions : Everyone knows the 'Wishing Tree' (or prayer tree) in Apostolou Pavlou Avenue, a short distance below the Kings Avenue Mall on the way towards the Harbour. Turn into the street below the Wishing Tree and Carrie's home is the last on the left. Turn left at the T-junction and park behind her home. 'Wishing Tree Cottage' overlooks the ancient Roman Amphitheatre at the archeological digs.
Open : Afternoons only by appointment - this is due to Carrie's physical challenges.
