FB: Julie Adlington Menelaou

Julie works in a varied palette of mixed media of oils and acrylics. Her subject matter expresses her innermost feelings which she calls inner painting, combined with her emotional attachment and observation of subjects such as the human condition, landscape and dance. She is inspired by the fine detail of William Morris textile designs. Theatre and dance lead and inspire her.

Even the smalles discoveries, like rafts to which a shipwrecked man clings, and which then sink to the depths, taking with them lines, colours and psuedo-meanings. No form is obsolete, no subject out of date; rather whatever of life and passion the world has known - all lies before like an open scroll, all is still instinct with beautiful life - Christina Rosetti

Directions: From Hero Square head up the street and "5 Elements" studio, is the third house on the left. The Rialto Theatre is one block away. Large car park in Ipirou Street behind the studio.
