Gemma is a British female contemporary artist who obtained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Derby University and continued her postgraduate degree at the Cyprus College of Art in Lemba, Paphos. She has been creating Art for nearly 20 years.

She produces a wide range of work from paintings and drawings, abstract, figurative, landscape, (oils and watercolour) to photography, printing, handmade cards, gifts, jewellery and sculptures out of found objects and driftwood and also now pottery ... her new project!

Living in the real Cyprus in a tranquil, picturesque, traditional small village in the mountainous countryside surrounded by nature and beauty with views of mount Olympus and the coast of Latchi, at an elevation of 800 metres, thus escaping the humidity in the summer months, is what continually inspires her to create.

Directions : Fyti is approximately 25 minutes from Paphos and 20 minutes from Polis. Fyti is well signposted from the main Paphos/Polis road. Follow the signs to Polemi near Stroumbi, and you will see signs for the wine routes. Fyti is located next to the village of Lasa. Once in Fyti village square, you will see a folk art and weaving museum opposite the church. From here you can follow the signs to Walnut Cottage Art Studio as it is just around the corner from the square.
