Barry has attended watercolour lessons for two years in 2005 and 2006 with CONSTANTINOU, Judith before joining the Kamares Art group which he now runs. The group meet each Wednesday morning at the Kamares Club where they paint and support each other.
Barry works in watercolour and acrylics in a realistic style and have completed several commissions over the years. The jack Russel watercolour was one of those commissioned pieces.
His inspiration comes from old Cyprus images, the many natural stone buildings/churches, ships in harbours, animals and people - basically anything that catches his eye.
Directions : At the top end of Tala, exit the roundabout towards Koili. Follow the road through the ravine and take the second turning to the right into Mary Leptos Street and continue up and over the hill - about 500m. Take first left into Aphrodite Street (Rododafni/Ambelia sign). Go down the hill into the dip - you will see a house on the corner surrounded by bougainvillea. Park in the parking area on the left or in the side street called Dionysou. The entrance is in Dionysou Street.
